Halfdan was one of my favourites in vikings. His death hit me so bad
Halfdan definitely stole the show with his siding with Bjorn. Just like Harald stole the show as one of the biggest threats during Bjorn's rival.

Something I always loved that this show did that I think gets completely overlooked is how the Norse mysticism and spirituality seeped in very subtly in alot of crucial moments. The Vikings weren't just battle hardened berserkers. They had a very strong understanding of and connection with nature and how to interpret their phsycadelic visions. They were very Native American in that regard and I'm glad the series showed the Vikings as actual human beings.
